Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Cleanser I have used This is the best cleanser I have used. I always had problems with mild breakouts and tried for years to resolve them and tested lots of products. Nothing has helped me as much as this cleanser in combination with Toleriane Ultra - Fluid. For reference I have normal to oily skin. If I have mascara or full make-up on I'll first use Avene micellar water to take it off. I just hope they never stop making it :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice cleanser This is a nice gentle cleanser that works well on my oily/sensitive skin. I use on dry skin then wipe off with a damp flannel.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy I would not recommend this product. I bought this product because they seem to have discontinued the la Roche posay effacular H cleansing foam -which was really good for cleansing your face properly without leaving it too dry. This product however doesn't do the same. It's too mild and doesn't take off makeup - therefore doesn't leave your skin feeling cleansed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the bee's knees! I've been using Effaclar for the past 5 years or so and it has totally transformed by previously spotty, lumpy, bumpy, dull and irritated skin. I now have compliments on my skin - particularly the texture and glow which is astonishing to me! I've always used the Effaclar Cleansing Gel in the past, but as I get older (late 40's) I have found it to be a tad drying. So, I changed to the hydrating cleanser. I apply it and then remove using a hand-hot flannel (sometimes twice if I have been wearing makeup or SPF) and it is incredibly effective, leaving my skin soft and clean. I follow up with Effaclar Duo+. In the morning I also use a spot of the Effaclar H moisturiser on top of the Duo+. In the evening I use Nutritic Riche over the Duo+. If I've got a breakout, (very rare these days) I swipe over the Effaclar Lotion at night before using the Duo and moisturiser. The range works so well for me. Thank you LRP!
