Rated 4 out of 5 by SGM57 from Summer alternative My usual tinted moisturiser/foundation is bareminerals Complexion Rescue in vanilla, but that can seem a bit pale in summer, and sometimes settles in the pores and creases of my skin. I was a bit apprehensive about trying a product that many reviewers had thought too orange, but decided to give it a go. It is certainly easy to dispense with the pump, but gives out perhaps slightly to much each time. The first time I used it I tried applying with a sponge, but it seemed that there was more product on the sponge than my face, so I now use the brush I bought from bareminerals. It is easy to apply and gives a subtle, even cover that looks rather 'dewy' but sits lightly and comfortably on the skin. There is a definite orangey cast to it (as evidenced on makeup sponge and on cotton wool pads after nighttime cleansing) but this is perhaps how it lessens/evens out the redness of the skin overall. The effect is of a light, glowing tan, as if a photo has been edited one notch towards a warmer colour cast. The smell is not unpleasant, but lingers longer than expected - I'm not used to being able to smell my face products! All in all, it is a good summer/holiday product, with a look that is less 'made up' and more natural.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TMac from At last a product that masks blemishes! I’m early fifties and have been lucky to always have had very good skin but noticed recently the appearance of small thread veins and brown sun spots that nothing would cover entirely - until now. The CC cream is so easy to apply with either fingers or make-up sponge; speads and blends perfectly and dries very quickly to a lovely dewy/matt finish. The colour works well for my fair/freckly complexion. The fragrance is strong but disappears minutes after application. I don’t wear foundation but this works both for day and evening and, the best thing is, I no longer require additional concealer for those more akward areas. For me, it is the best tinted moisturiser I have used and I have been searching for a while; love it!

Rated 2 out of 5 by AJM27 from Try before you buy Although this says it suits anyone (“universal”), I probably should have realised that no product can work for everyone (see also ‘one size fits all‘). This was far too dark for me. It also sat in my pores. The two things combined means I won’t use this again and it was a waste of money. I guess the moral of the story is that you should really only buy repeat colours online.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MarLus from Substitute for foundation as suggested by a friend I asked around my girl friends how to avoid those wrinkles marked by foundation and powder. One of them substitutes foundation for this very light correction cream. A tiny dab is more than enough. I still use eye cream and compact powder but this trick makes wrinkles much less obvious. Great trick!
