This toning tonic from La Roche-Posay is part of the Effaclar range which is a collection of products specifically formulated for oily, acne-prone skin. This transparent fluid has micro-exfoliating LHA properties which work to unclog and tighten pores, whilst redefining the skins texture to reveal smooth, soft skin. It will soak up excess oil and remove impurities so you're left with intensely refreshed, purified skin. Suitable for sensitive skin.

Use on dry, freshly cleansed skin. Dampen a cotton wool pad with toner and apply gently to the face. Avoid the eye area.

Paraben Free. Non-comedogenic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DawnD from Used this brand for years. Amazing products. French dermatologists really have it right with this brand. Does exactly what it’s says. As a skincare consultant it’s my go to for skincare products. I used to recommend it to all my customers. Keeps skin clear. Used with other products from la Roche possay you will certainly see a clear complexion and a great base for makeup starts with clear skin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kerstin from A toner that suits me! Having adult acne prone skin at 60 is not easy but this toner works a treat. Finally I have found the one that truly is a game changer. In the mornings before my heavy exercise classes starts, I apply only toner with a cotton pad to ensure my pores are unblocked and clean, no exercise spots forms. After exercise clean your face, apply the toner and other serums, moisturisers etc that work for your skin. Now break out in spots very rarely and it is usually my own fault, wash your face very soon after a spin-cycle session please! :))

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nellaura from I like this toner a lot, I have found it’s good for controlling oily/shiny T-zone which is something I’ve been struggling with. It has also improved the healing time of my spots and the amount I’ve been getting. The scent is quite strong which is typical of an astringent but doesn’t linger and isn’t overpowering. It also has not caused any dry patches which is good as I have combination skin that can be quite dramatic! However the ‘unclog’ feature is unfounded for me, I have not noticed a difference in the areas notorious for blackheads.
