Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ssssssh.... ....I use this as a blusher brush! To cut a long story short, I have a powder blusher palette from a cult brand that I love the idea of using, but the pigmentation is simply too light to show up on my skin. So it was with this particular blusher palette in mind that I took a punt on this sculpting brush as I wanted a densely-packed bunch of bristles to pack on the colour in one or two swipes during my morning rush. The density of the bristles did not disappoint, and the angled shape is also ideal for directional application where I need more control. The bristles feel so soft: it's the first time I have consciously bought a synthetic hair brush and am amazed at what taklon invention is capable of. The chunky handle is not like any of my other brushes (this is my first and currently, only, Real Techniques brush), but for a blusher/sculpting brush, it's comfortable to hold and control. I've been using this brush for around 6-8 months now, but it's not a everyday workhorse in my make-up routine, so I don't know how its longevity compares with my other brushes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good brush nice finish I have only had this brush for a few weeks but I am quite impressed! Lots of make-up artists claim that natural fibres work better than synthetic bristles (like this brush) for powder formulations but I do not find this claim to be true with this brush. It is geat for BOTH cream and powder contour. You generally need to layer your powder contour on a bit more than with cream products anyway. Blends the contour line nicely. Gives a wonderful, natural finish with precise definition because of the head shape. The only thing I would say is as the bristles are quite dense, it can take off some of your foundation if you are heavy handed with it, especially if it is a cheaper one without primer underneath or one that doesn't adhere to you skin well. So you do need to use nice light strokes.
