Soothe and protect your skin from head to toe with La Roche-Posay Lipikar Syndet AP+ - Lipid Replenishing Cream Wash, a nourishing formulation for sensitive, irritated and dry skin.

The anti-irritant creamy gel wash is designed for use on dehydrated and uncomfortable skin that is prone to itchiness, eczema and flakiness. Suitable for use by the whole family, the mild cleanser will protect the face and body from the drying effects of water and will help to hydrate leaving skin feeling cleansed, soft and soothed.

So much more than a shower cream gel, this is a wonderfully gentle way to ensure that sensitive and dry skin feels pampered without causing any discomfort. We love the fact that it is suitable for the whole family to use and is particularly good for babies sensitive scalps and also cradle cap.

Made up of a 10% concentration of moisturising glycerin, deeply nourishing shea butter and anti-inflammatory niacinamide to help rebuild the skin’s barrier function, restoring comfort and suppleness with every use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JHT17 from SLS It sounded perfect so I ordered it and stupidly did not research the ingredients. On receiving it, I checked the list of ingredients. There it was - the dreaded Sodium Laureth Sulphate. I cannot let this near my face so it will be a hand wash. A lesson learned - no matter how gentle it claims to be if SLS is in there it is a known irritant.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jofe from It Probably Does Work on dry skin. My skin isn't particularly dry, but I had been having breakouts, so I thought I would revert to a gentler cleanser/ wash for a while. It certainly is gentle, and it has a smooth milky feel that did leave my skin feeling smooth/ pampered afterwards. There is barely any fragrance but it does have a distinctive "smell" that I really like for some reason. Even though it calmed my skin somewhat, I probably won't reorder as I need something that will reduce my acne breakouts.
