La Roche-Posay Anthelios Anti-Shine Tinted Dry Touch Gel Cream SPF50+ 50ml is rated out of 5 by 14.
Rated 3 out of 5 by kb39 from Tricky to apply and too matte. I need a high SPF for rosacea and pigmentation marks on my face. I used the non-tinted version of this last year, under makeup. I thought I could use the tinted variety this year to avoid a white bloom on my skin. I also hate layers of product on my face so hoped I could use this instead of a tinted moisturiser or foundation on top of an SPF. I have combination skin . The product is difficult to spread, it is very matte, ashy, drying and leaves streaky patches over my face (even on well-moisturised skin) and emphasizes large pores. The fragrance is strong too. The colour was OK for me with it being a light/medium golden tone. I think this product would be best for using to sunbathe rather than as daily wear use under make-up. On a positive note, the SPF works well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Sunshine107 from Too dry I purchased this tinted touch gel cream but it fails in coverage as it’s too drying on the skin, I couldn’t even apply any make up like some powder on top as the gel cream just started to flake away. Not impressed, the dry touch was probably not the best option for me, I would always recommend a cream based non greasy tinted sun cream.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SmokeJunkie from Has similarities to a foundation I was dabbling with alternative facial SPFs to my reliable (and repeat purchase) Vichy Ideal Soleil Anti-Blemish Mattifying CC cream and had been curious to try out this much-lauded Anthelios range for some time. As I live in a hot climate and we are currently in the middle of summer humidity, the anti-shine feature is quite important to me as I don't re-touch my make-up at all and expect around 16-18hrs' wear once I've done my face for the day. I've been quite lucky to be able to get away without wearing foundation or tinted moisturiser on a daily basis, but had chosen the tinted version of this Anthelios XL product as the reviews of the non-tinted version got me worried that it might leave my skin looking ashy. I like the pump dispenser packaging. As other reviewers have noted, the gel is quite thick and does need to be worked into the skin for an even finish. The tint is a bit lighter than my (olive tanned) skin, but it turned out alright in person once applied (but I haven't tried this out on camera to see what it looks like in photos). The anti-shine properties of this product are not as effective on me compared to my Vichy staple, even though I also apply mattifying powder to soak up the excess shine. Just like a foundation, I have to be quite careful about touching my face during the day as the gel doesn't set. I do like the skin tone which this product creates in person, and it works quite well with laying a base for my make-up. It also keeps my blusher true-to-colour for longer. I think I will need to get used to how it sits on my skin as it still feels heavier than I'm used to (and this is not helped by the Gulf summer humidity).

Rated 4 out of 5 by Lah54 from Good protection I chose this because of its uv sun protection and because it’s tinted. Straight from the pump it looks a little orange but once on is a natural colour with very good coverage. I found it difficult to apply and mixed it with a little moisturiser to make it easier to use. It has very good staying power even after a hot days gardening and more importantly my face was protected from the sun.
