Good if you don't like white cream
I bought this for my mum who hates white suncream. She has tried the honey version and though giving a very subtle wash of tint, she found it a bit too dark for her tastes. This is probably err-ing to far on the pale side but goes into the skin well.

Disappointing
I rated fragrance a '5' because there isn't any - which is what I wanted. Nozzle not very user-friendly as it disgorges down its own 'front', and if you tip the bottle to prevent this - nothing comes out!
Once you get some on your face it is VERY difficult to spread. I had to really pull and push at the delicate skin round my eyes to try and get even coverage - not fun. The colour looks good as it comes out (I wanted to wear it every day in non-tanned seasons), and it was a lovely pale flesh colour, BUT, once it's on, it's just white-ish. I could live with that, but after a few hours it 'dries out' into a white residue - like scaly tide-marks! I tried mixing it with a light moisturiser; I also tried applying a lot of moisturiser first - nothing really helped. (My skin isn't especially dry, though it is sensitive). All in all I feel a bit let down, and I cannot understand how other users find it so good - as reading their reviews was what encouraged me to buy.

The best, most stable sunscreen in the world
I'm a self professed sunscreen nerd and have searched the earth for a sunscreen which is both cosmetically elegant and ultra stable. This little champion is it! The UV filters it contains will not break down in the presence of UV light like 99.9% of other chemical sunscreens on the market and it is easy and pleasant to use. I am not a fan of purely physical sunscreens (i.e. zinc oxide/titanium dioxide) as they do not cover some areas of the light spectrum allowing ageing rays through. Ultrasun contains an impressive collection of THE best new stable sunscreen filters leaving nothing to be desired.
Ultrasun is neither greasy or drying on the skin, just perfect, moisturising and comfortable and also seemingly absorbs excess oil on my skin. It leaves a beautiful dewy finish on the skin which is very pretty (think healthy glow) and aesthetically pleasing. Due to the tint it is non whitening but it does not make you look like you are caked in makeup. Its a nice nude look and ideal as a primer under makeup. Be sure to apply a 1/4 teaspoon to the face and a 1/4 teaspoon to the neck and décolleté full full protection. It goes on a bit white at first but within 10-20 minutes will have sunk into your skin leaving a dry-feel finish. Its a great idea to apply an antioxidant serum underneath for even more protection.
Unlike Avobenzone containing European screens like LRP Anthelios and Bioderma, it is safe to wear mineral containing make up over Ultrasun as they will not cause the super safe, stable filters in this product to break down. There are no hormone disrupting UV filters in this product. I posed some questions to their customer service team and they were utterly amazing and helpful unlike the aforementioned other Euro sunscreen companies! If you are looking for a hardcore sunscreen which will offer you fantastic protection without compromising on cosmetic elegance look no further than this absolute holy grail of a product!
(Please note there are some less than desirable ingredients in some of their non-tinted screens but they are in the process of reformulating these to the same safe formula as their tinted face and some of their body screens. The new formulas are available across the board in Switzerland but not yet in the U.K.)
