Uriage Extra-Rich Dermatological Cleansing Gel 500ml is rated out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Susan789 from Basic cleanser that removes all make-up without drying skin out or leaving skin feeling tight. I have switched to this from previous “spot fighting” facial washes and have found this to be much more effect as keeping my pores clean. Lovely fragrance and foaminess.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Madfrenchwoman from No-fuss effective product that is a joy to use I was delighted to discover I can now buy my favourite face cleansing gel in the UK via Escentual. I first used this gel about 4 years ago when I bought a bottle whilst visiting friends in France. I prefer washing my face to using cleanser and toner, as it somehow feels cleaner and is also less faff. The smell instantly reminds me of the sea ( I can't explain but it's very evocative of France!) and the gel cleanses effectively, leaving my skin fresh and soft. You need very little of the product, so it lasts for ages and is therefore cost-effective, and as it's suitable for both face and body, it's a holiday space saver, too. I've completely given up using more "conventional cleansers", with no ill effects to my almost 60-year old skin. I don't often wear foundation, but when I do, I just do two washes with Uriage and all make-up is removed. It would be nice to see it offered in the 1 litre size, too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Athertang from The second part of my double cleanse routine I purchased this cleanser due to developing sensitive skin after starting on Retin A (tretinoin). I was a devotee of lovely fragranced cleansers until they started to sting my face due to the Retin A sensitising my skin. This huge 500ml will last me for a long time and is amazing value for money. It doesn’t dry my face out and is super gentle but effective. I always double cleanse and use this after first using Clinique take the day off balm cleanser. The only down side about the Uriage cleanser is that it doesn’t lather as well as soap based cleansers.
