A decent eye cream
It's a decent eye cream, in that it keeps my skin hydrated and it contains some pearlescence to keep the area looking bright. I, like another reviewer, have hereditary dark circles and this cream does make them look brighter. I also have oily skin so I only need slight moisturisation and this does the job.
However, in terms of combating fine lines (of which I have only a few) or puffiness around the eyes it does very little, so I wouldn't recommend it if that's what you're looking for in an eye cream.

Great eye product
Vichy has created a new way of applying eyecare - you stroke it on with the plastic tip which is easy and the product gives a healthy sheen around the eye area. Top marks to Escentuals as well as I browsed this product a few weeks before purchasing but they had a pop up window letting me know that they were going to have a Vichy sale a few weeks later so I held of purchasing until then. First time a supplier gives me the heads up to save money! Great website

not just cream
It contains small glowing parts that makes your skin look brighter. Good if you do not want to use any make up and still look fresh and bright. Packaging is interesting, made to be easy to apply the product. If you will apply too much, it might get visible on your small wrinkles or corners of eyes after while.

Pleasant and effective
I was torn between a couple of eye creams, but I chose this as the Idealia serum has such good feedback, plus I find French pharmacy brands to be good value considering the quality of ingredients. I've not been disappointed!
I've always had dark circles (not pigmentation, just hereditary) and so I know there is no cream on Earth that will eradicate them, but I must say this keeps them in check. If I choose an eye cream which is just hydrating without brightening, I really notice they are much darker.
This eye cream has been put to the test with a few late nights, drinking etc. and really has kept my eyes looking as bright as they're going to get.
The cream itself is slightly thicker than some I've used (I've got oily skin so tend to go for lighter formulations) but it hasn't once made my eyes puffy or been too heavy in anyway. It has a slight pearlescence to it but I haven't really noticed it on the skin, doesn't look glittery or shimmery at all.
I find the silicone spatula type applicator to be quite redundant - I don't like the way it spreads the product on to the skin and frankly I don't use it, I just squeeze out the appropriate amount for both eyes and apply with my ring fingers. The point at which the product actually dispenses is quite small so it's easy to control how much you squeeze out of the tube.
I like this eye cream a lot, I use it twice a day and can see the tube lasting absolutely ages, at least 9 months (I probably apply 3 millimetres of product for both eyes).
