Yves Saint Laurent Heritage Collection Pour Homme Eau de Toilette Spray 80ml is rated out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by ruum from Mossy, herbacious, citrus with luscious woods As someone with an urge for slightly more classic fragrances than what is being released these days, YSL Pour Homme is perhaps one of the longest-lasting designer scents, although it may not apply to everyone. Its now discontinued older cousin, the Haute Concentration edition of Pour Homme was oakmoss-rich, packed full of light herbs, citrus and luscious woods. The current edition of the regular Pour Homme (as reviewed) I am pleased to say, is not any different! It's been well over 30 years since this gem came out and in my opinion it was way ahead of its time. Chanel had Pour Monsieur, Dior had Eau Sauvage, Givenchy had Monsieur de Givenchy, so the bar was set quite high for YSL to compete with. But they came out on top! Of all the 'homme' or 'monsieur' fragrances this one cuts above them all in my opinion. Fresh yet slightly dirty, smooth yet herbaceous, strong but not overpowering and very long lasting, it oozes quality and class. I'll never be without a bottle of this as it is just too classy to skip over. A thumbs up and an easy 5/5 for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by oldbutgood from YSL Pour Homme, my signature I have worn this scent since it was introduced in 1971 when I was 18. It has changed a little over the years becoming somewhat stronger, but always with the definable freshness the scent imparts. My daughters both consider this my signature scent as I have tried others without enjoying them in the slightest. I used Aramis for a while but returned to YSL Pour Homme EDT much as a person re-connects with an old friend, with the delight of re-discovering all that was good. It would be true to say that I went bonkers over this product and bought the soap, aftershave, balm and every conceivable add-on during the 70's, but as things became unavailable I had to "make do". Thank you for this, YSL, it certainly became part of me for many years.
