What Does Amouage Library Collection Opus XIV Royal Tobacco Smell Like?
It's a woody aromatic scent that smells like smoking tobacco and fresh spice with a sweet, creamy richness that comes out on the skin as you wear it throughout the day.
It starts with invigorating spices with frankincense oil, elemi, cardamom, anise, and basil-brightened zesty bergamot. Its core is ignited with burning tobacco absolute, syrupy liqorice, lavender, prunol, and nutty fenugreek, accompanied by a fresh floral bouquet of orange blossom, osmanthus, and rose. The lasting impression of this signature has so many layers, burning with soft embers of frankincense and myrrh, sweet benzoin, Peru balsam, and labdanum, blended by leathery birch tar, vetiver, guaiac wood, and oud assam. Its finale is creamy and unexpectedly sweet compared to its spicy opening with a creamy blend of tonka bean, vanilla Madagascar, and skin-like musks.

Fitting of the Library Collection, it takes inspiration from the traditional act of the 'El Lector' who used to read to the workers on the cigarette factory floor to keep them mentally stimulated while packing.
