What Does It Feel Like?

How Do You Use The Product?
Wiggle the brush from the root of your lashes to the tips. Allow for a few seconds of drying time, and apply another coat if desired.
Tip: Swirl your brush instead of pumping it; this will limit the amount of air in the tube and improve the longevity of your product.
How Do You Remove It?
Many people find the original they’re Real! Mascara hard to remove. However, it’s all about the formula you use to take it off. Benefit has a dedicated they’re Real! Remover if you’d like to stay within the range or I’d recommend a bi-phase eye makeup remover. A bi-phase formula combines two phases of oil and water mixed, which lift away stubborn, long-wear makeup without pulling or tugging. One of my favourites is La Roche-Posay Respectissime.
What’s Special About The Design?
If you’re a fan or have seen the original They’re Real Mascara, you’ll recognise the similarities in this mascara’s design. The packaging is silver and slender, but the latest release is set apart by a quirky Benefit magnet design that takes pride of place on the top of the lid.

What do you usually look for in a mascara?
My lashes arent usually this visible, but I’ve been busy with my at-home LVL kit as I’m a sucker for anything that makes me look like I have long, fluttery natural lashes – the fake lash look isn’t for me. I love the lifted and defined look.

I love the way it’s picked up lashes I didn’t know existed, particularly the ends of my lashes to make my eyes look more elongated and more of a feature.

I’d like to give the original they’re real mascara another go to compare the two, as the original is one of my all-time favourites – even though it’s a pain to get off. One thing I will say about magnetic compared to the original is it’s quicker and easier to remove – phew!

How quickly it works! I love how full and lengthened my lashes look, and it lasts all day too. I loved that my lashes seemed just as curled at the end of the day.

Absolutely! My go-to is usually Benefit Rollerlash, but I think I’ll be switching for this when I want to go more glam as it adds thickness as well as curl and length.

I would, but I would need to pair it with primer because I found after around 6 hours of wear it smudged on me. But this happens a lot to me with mascaras because my eyelashes touch my brow bone frequently.
