Daily Milkfoliant features chemical exfoliants, which means that it uses acids to get rid of dead skin cells for a polished, renewed complexion. This might sound scary, but Dermalogica have made sure that all skin types can use this formulation without worrying about irritation – I’ve put it to the test, and I can confirm that it feels really gentle and non-irritating. The gently exfoliating powder partners grape extract and arginine, which is rich in Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) and Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHAs) together with coconut milk for skin that’s smooth and soft. The formula resurfaces skin using exfoliating papain extract, harvested from papaya, to buff away dead, dulling skin cells.
Naturally-derived saccharide works with atomised sea salt that’s rich in nourishing essential minerals, while hyaluronic acid supports the skin’s moisture barrier. To complete the mix, calming oat bran extracts containing nourishing lipids replenishes and helps soothe skin.
