Clarins Eau Dynamisante Gentle Deodorant Review

Clarins Eau Dynamisante Gentle Deodorant Blog Review

Clarins Eau Dynamisante Deodorant made me realise I never want to scrimp on a deodorant again. Smelling like a high-end Clarins perfume all day put a spring in my step and made me feel uber-confident. I’m converted, and I’ve already repurchased my second bottle. Here’s why I think it’s worth your investment…

Why I Wanted To Try It

You’ll Love It Because:

  • It’s aluminium-free and you get the freshness of the perfume all day long.
  • ”I never smell this good after running.” was a comment my friend made after using this for a 5k park run.
  • Fans of Eau Dynamisante perfume, this is a no-brainer because it will only help you layer the freshness of that citrus for longer and give it way more impact.
  • No white marks.
  • No waiting time to get ready.

What I Thought After 30-Days Of Using It

How It Works?

It was really interesting to find out that Clarins have used multiple plant extracts to target the odour without interfering with the natural sweating process or blocking your pores. Including…

  • Citrus fruit
  • Patchouli
  • Bitter Orange
  • Rosemary
  • White Thyme
  • Licorice extract
  • Salicornia extract ( specifically targets any fragile underarm skin)

I learned this deodorant spray is more of a natural way to keep yourself feeling fresh than using an antiperspirant. I also love the fact it’s aluminium-free too.

Why The Format Works

The Spray

  • You get no white marks, as it’s colourless and powderless.
  • Feels fresher than a powdery mist or stick as its a perfumed mist.
  • Aluminium-free – winner.

The Bottle

It travels so well because it’s not glass, even though it looks expensive. It’s 100ml, so if you’re going on a short haul or just got hand luggage, it’s perfect. It’s also a nice holiday deodorant because it smells so fresh. The bottle is fully recyclable and can go in your green bin when you are finished.

How To Use It?

I’ve been playing around with the application and found about four sprays under each arm will keep you smelling fresh for most of the day.

Some things I want you to consider: If you’ve shaved your underarms, wait two or three hours (Clarins say preferably 24 hours) after to avoid any extra stinging; there’s fragrance in there, so it’s naturally going to give you a little burning feeling.

If you’re using the full Clarins Dynamisante routine, make sure you wash with the body wash, apply your body moisturiser, spray your deodorant, and finish with a couple of spritzes of the fragrance to make it to make sure the fresh, lemony scent of Eau Dyanaminsate lasts as long as possible.
