Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré

£13.00 - £20.00

Restore the comfort of your skin with the cult Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentre, a multipurpose moisturising cream rich in natural active ingredients.

The deeply moisturising formula is extremely versatile. Perfect for use by babies, children and adults on both the face and the body, it provides comfort, soothing repair and lasting moisture to ensure better elasticity and suppleness. Created with a rich infusion of shea butter, beeswax, soy and aloe vera, skin is smoothed, plumped and incredibly soft.

The creamy Concentre can be used as a make-up removing cleanser, in a thick layer as a beauty mask, beneath make-up as a primer, in a thin layer as your daily moisturiser, or as a repairing after-sun care product. For men, it can be used as a soothing after shave balm, and the comforting texture makes it an ideal daily protector for even very young skin.

Smooth onto the skin and massage in gently. The cream-milk texture leaves a non-sticky satin finish for all skin types.

Paraben-free.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Great product, I use it as makeup primer, unless other primers that look very nice and smooth at the beginning and after a while they start cracking all the fundation. Embryolisse stays for longer without that effect. Be aware, if you have very oily skin this might not be suitable for you

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the type of mineral oil its using -A Great product It uses the Pure Mineral oil -It is a great emollient and moisturizer working mainly by occlusivity. Occlusivity is one of the basic mechanisms of how moisturizers work and it means that mineral oil sits on top of the skin and hinders so-called trans-epidermal water loss, i.e water evaporating out of your skin. When compared to heavy-duty plant oil, extra virgin coconut oil, the two of them were equally efficient and safe as moisturizers in treating xerosis, a skin condition connected to very dry skin. The other thing that mineral oil is really good at is being non-irritating to the skin. The chemical composition of plant oils is more complex with many more possible allergens or irritating components, while mineral oil is simple, pure and sensitivity to it is extremely rare. If you check out the classic French pharmacy brands and their moisturizers for the most sensitive, allergy prone skin, they usually contain mineral oil. This is no coincidence.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mineral Oil ? Given its cult status, I was surprised to see that this contains 2 chemicals which are to be avoided. The second largest ingredient is petroleum (paraffinum liquidum or mineral oil) which is derived from oil - the same oil from which petrol is made. The other is propylene glycol - another potential skin irritant and something which dries out the skin over time. I will stick to my usual brand. Escentual really need to start including ingredients on their product lists.
