Eucerin Aquaphor Soothing Skin Balm

Only: £11.45 RRP: £13.50

One of Eucerin’s hero products for a reason, the Aquaphor Soothing Skin Balm is a multi-purpose barrier cream that will soothe and protect dry, cracked and irritated skin and help with skin regeneration.

The Aquaphor Soothing Skin Balm is one of Eucerin’s much talked about and best loved products because of the multitude of benefits it offers.

Its rich, balmy texture is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive and can even be used on babies. A fragrance-free formula means it won’t irritate skin as it intensively moisturises dry, irritated skin in need of some TLC. If you’re looking for a formula to tackle dry and cracked heels, knees, elbows, cuticles and knuckles - this is the one to choose because it provides a semi-occlusive barrier that allows the skin to heal.

What makes it so effective are skin-loving ingredients glycerin and panthenol. Glycerin adds intensive hydration to the skin because it attracts water, while panthenol assists with speeding up the repair process and gives an extra boost of moisture. Bisabolol is a naturally soothing ingredient that will provide an anti-inflammatory effect on areas of discomfort. Working in conjunction with each other they will help to support the skin’s recovery process.

Why We Love It

We think that Eucerin Aquaphor Balm is one of those products that everyone should own. Why? Simply for the fact it has so many uses! It’s primary function is a barrier balm for dry, cracked and irritated skin but did you know that it can also be used to help treat and heal minor burns? It can even be used as part of your makeup routine - Meghan Markle’s makeup artist iconically used Aquaphor to highlight the high points of her face on her wedding day. We love to use it to create a glossy eye effect or even as a lip balm.

How To Use It

Apply as frequently as required on affected areas and massage into your skin using your fingertips, the balm will spread as it warms on your skin.

Eucerin Aquaphor Soothing Skin Balm 45ml is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I have been searching for For some reason I get really sore eyelids that sting at night if I get really tired. Obviously it’s a tricky place you can’t just put anything on with being so close to your eyes. I’d tried several things and nothing helped until I discovered this balm. It’s thick but gentle, completely unscented and doesn’t sting if it does get in your eyes. You only need use a tiny amount so it lasts for ages. I’ve also just started using it on sore and cracked fingers from washing and sanitising so much. I’ve also used it as a nappy cream for my baby if she gets bad nappy rash. A note to the 1 star reviews saying you can’t get it out of the tube- it’s just the nature of the product that when it’s cold it’s stiff. You merely need to warm it up in your hands or just sit with it in your lap a couple of minutes and it comes out with ease! Also a thank you to Escentual who added a couple of mini size tubes of this to my most recent order as complimentary samples. I was so pleased as they’re perfect for my travel bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seems okay !! Started using this product by chance from receiving a free sample after a recent purchase of another product. Slightly greasy after applying which is ideal for dry skin as it keeps your skin moist and stops it from drying out. It doesn't seem to irritate my skin which is a bonus. I have used it for a couple of weeks and seems fine for my skin. I purchased some more so I can keeps using it and hopefully will still be okay for my skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great A bit like an eight hour cream but without the smell. This is a multipurpose balm that will be excellent on sore skin. I have used it on my lips even though you’re not really supposed to. I can see this really coming into its own when I have a cold and get a really sore nose as I normally use Vaseline for this. A lovely, thick and unctuous texture. I hear it is also used to add shine to the face is a highlighter but without the pearly colour which some might like. I think Eucerin is a great brand and this is a good buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great item After reading reviews online I got this to apply over my night cream. Its intensely hydrating and leaves sking looking younger and more subtle in the morning has also reduced some of my eye lines. Will be buying again for sure! Also great to use on any dry or cracked areas as my husband also used some.
