‘’If you’re obsessed with delicate and sophisticated scents, and you have an undeniably sweet tooth, you’ll love Parfums de Marly Oriana.’’ - Kate, Escentual Beauty Team.

Why you’ll love Parfums de Marly Oriana:

  • Sweet, delicate fruity-floral fragrance with an addictive gourmand tone.
  • Long-lasting Eau de Parfum for women.
  • Acts as a great introduction to niche perfume brand, Parfums de Marly.
  • Stunning flacon in a striking pink shade.

What Does Oriana Eau de Parfum Smell Like?

Created by master perfumer Hamid Merati-Kashani, Parfums de Marly Oriana opens with a splash of citrus: juicy, honeyed mandarin, sunny Italian bergamot and citrus-aromatic grapefruit.

This fresh and uplifting aroma blossoms into a heart of sophisticated orange blossom, fruity blackcurrant and a crisp, frosted raspberry before the fragrance melts into delicious, gourmand sweet treats. Chantilly cream creates an sweetness as it’s dolloped over an incredible marshmallow note, musk mallow (also known as ambrette), while warm, sensual and comforting musk wraps you up in a cosy embrace.

Top notes are Mandarin, Bergamot, Grapefruit. Heart notes are Orange Blossom, Blackcurrant, Raspberry. Base notes are Marshmallow, Ambrette, Chantilly Cream, Musk.

Why it’s Escentual:

Here at Escentual, we think that Oriana Eau de Parfum would make the perfect introduction to the niche perfume brand, Parfums de Marly.

It’s just a touch sweeter, while it also feels a little more modern and playful, so younger audiences will love it, while still relishing the chance to step into the world of Parfums de Marly before the real fragrance exploration begins. We love how delicate and airy Oriana is, but it still maintains impressive longevity, which we’ve only come to expect from Parfums de Marly.

Anyone with a sweet tooth (like us!) will simply adore it as the moreish base centres around sugar-coated facets, musk mallow (a note also known as ambrette was in the 18th century to perfume and powder hair) cuts through and the base is warmed through by sensual, ultra-comforting must for an almost toasty tone. We think the base is so deliciously addictive that this scent should come with a warning: do not drink!

And we have to mention the bottle! It features lots of Parfums de Marly’s signature details - from the curved hourglass shape to the silky tassels and the single jewel set into the top - but Oriana stands out from the current line-up thanks to its bold and playful bright pink colour. Anyone who is a fan of pink will want this on their dressing table!

The Best Way To Use It:

To get the most out of this fragrance, spritz Oriana directly onto the pulse points: your neck and wrists.

Parfums de Marly Oriana Eau de Parfum Spray is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sublime gourmand for neroli lovers The common opinion about Oriana is that it's unoriginal because of its similarity to Kilian's Love Don't Be Shy (i.e. a sweet, gourmand orange blossom fragrance). I already own Love Don't Be Shy and there are clear differences between them. The latter is a powdery neroli, cocoa and caramel on me, whereas Oriana has this creamy, deep, melted marshmallow element as well as a fruity opening. It wears softer than LDBS, but stays around all day. There's something very comforting about this fragrance. Quite frankly, as a neroli lover, I think there should be more neroli gourmands. They really work (as Jean Paul Gaultier Classique already proved in the nineties). Just wonderful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from really like this what do you get if you cross the rose from parfait de roses, the orange blossom from love don't be shy and the marshmallow from guerlains mademoiselle...with a little cream.
