Why Does It Make You Feel Confident? Giorgio Armani Si was my go-to scent before I started working at Escentual, I wore it through my teens when there was little to no stress in my life! My fragrance collection has now more than doubled but it’s still the one I go to when I need a boost of confidence. It has a sense of familiarity which is comforting whenever I’m feeling anxious or insecure and really helps me reset and feel like my best self again.

Niche fragrances never fail to make me feel put together and special. I think it’s down to knowing how much detail is behind the whole process. With that in mind, it only takes one spritz of Moonlight Patchouli to make me feel confident. I can imagine high-flying women smelling of this, as it smells expensive, but understated. It doesn’t shout ‘I’m here’, instead it makes people ask, ‘Who is here?
I love the iris in it; it’s got that lipstick-like scent which is ironic as it gives me the confidence wearing Dior 999 would (one of the most iconic red lipsticks in the world).

Filled with woody and spicy tones and leathery cocoa notes, the sophisticated, sensual nature sets me up for a great day – plus, I love the vintage pom-pom design.
5. Miller Harris Oud Eclat

Why Does It Make You Feel Confident? Oud Eclat by Miller Harris is my all-time favourite fragrance – it’s always my first choice when I need a boost of confidence. Whenever I breathe in its bold woody scent, it makes me feel like I’ve got things together. Besides, this is a premium niche perfume from one of my favourite brands – of course it’s going to make me feel confident when I’m wearing it!
