What Does Parfums de Marly Althair Smell Like?

Althair belongs to the gourmand-amber family, which means it smells expensive and almost edible. When we sprayed this in our office, " vanilla " was the most common word." However, Althair's sweetness is subjective. It's not a sticky, honeyed sweetness; the soft, cosy, intimate side draws you in. Perfumers Hamid Merati-Kashani and Julien Sprecher purposely added the freshness of citrus fruits to keep the scent rich and decadent.

Top notes are Orange Blossom, Bergamot, and Cinnamon.

Heart notes include Bourbon Vanilla and Elemi.

Base notes are Guaiacwood, Ambrox, Praline, and Musk.

ALTHAIR is a vanilla infused fragrance that is not sticky but that is powerful and modern; an addictive signature with lots of projection on the top and very long lasting. Elegance starts from the top with an aromatic combination of citruses and spices: orange flower, sparkling bergamot, warm cardamom and evocative cinnamon.

The overdose of vanilla beans brings a very refined, warm and textured addiction in the heart. To achieve this elegant and modern signature, there was a combination of the sensual note's amber, woods, and leather, contrasted with notes of clean and fresh musk.
