Not the same.
I thought I was buying my usual J'adore l'Or 40ml scent, but unfortunately it isn't the same. This is a much lighter flowery scent - although 50ml I would still rather have had the original. Why change a perfectly acceptable & popular product?

House of Dior has not had a winning fragrance since the launch of J'adore L'Absolu and I was curious to try the new J'adore L'or created by the genius Mr.Francis Kurkdjan. I took advantage of the special offer on the Escentual website and bought it without trying out a sample. A big and expensive mistake it has turned out to be .This new version, though it bears some similarity to the J'adore line,is a very poor imitation of the original. It is a very sweet and flowery concoction that is a watered down modern version .If Dior is expecting this fragrance to capture the niche fragrance market, they will be disappointed as there are far better floral fragrances at this price point. J'adore L'or fans should you wish to purchase this new version, try before buying.to avoid a costly mistake.
