Recommended by the European Skin Cancer Foundation, the SPF 50+ contains provitamin E for its powerful antioxidant properties that protect cells against free radicals, which can cause premature ageing, dullness and dryness. Avene leans on a patented filter system, SunSitive, that uses only four filters for optimal tolerance on your skin to minimise the risk of reaction. Rated 1 out of 5 by SareBear from Never again. The consistency is not great, doesn't blend at all. But the colour is the worst aspect:- ORANGE!! No one in the world is this colour...I'm not sure what to do with this product...will try to mix it with other creams as other bad reviews have suggested, but that's not what paid for. Never again I'm afraid.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Hardy from Not for me I am very disappointed with this product. The pump did not work well and required a lot of tries before it worked (not just the first time). The cream slides on the skin easily but the colour is a very strong orange and I needed to remove it immediately. I have used just one finger amount and mixed it with my usual moistureriser and it looks acceptable but I will not be buying this again.

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue and La Roche-Posey’s Rosaliac CC Creme, as well as a badly-judged detour into their Anthelios Pigment Correct, have all fallen by the wayside and into the unused product junkyard. Avene is the one I come back to time and again, marvelling at how comfortable my skin feels the whole day through, with a slight dewey glow that just brightens this old face of mine without making me look like a belisha beacon. OK, so the coverage isn’t much, but it gently blurs the imperfections enough to give me confidence to face the world with a smile.
