The Ordinary "Buffet" + Copper Peptides 1% 30ml

€35.37

Your favourite The Ordinary "Buffet" has been updated with a shot of 1% Copper Peptides. The flora-friendly serum contains a mix of peptides and probiotics that help with signs of ageing while maintaining the general wellbeing of skin.

This serum contains all the antiageing peptides and probiotics featured in The Ordinary "Buffet" with the addition of 1% concentration of pure copper peptides. Naturally occurring copper peptides have several functions, including maintaining a healthy immune function and stimulating collagen synthesis. It’s also renowned for its anti-inflammatory properties, so skin is protected and soothed while using this.

The formula is enriched with peptides Matrixyl 3000, Matrixyl™ synthe'6™, SYN™-AKE that encourage collagen synthesis, while ARGIRELOX™ and realistase target fine lines and elasticity for a plumper complexion.

In addition, the silky-smooth serum features microbiome-friendly probiotic complex, 11 skin-friendly amino acids and hydrating hyaluronic that together encourage plumpness to keep skin soft, supple and healthy.

Why We Love It

Copper is produced by our bodies and declines with age, so it’s important to keep it topped up to reap the anti-ageing effects. The inclusion of copper also does something pretty cool to this serum; giving it a natural azure blue colour that instantly catches the eye. But, when applied to the skin it turns completely transparent. With no remaining blue hue, the lightweight liquid serum leaves a tackiness to the skin that adheres well to your foundation. Applied with the built-in pipette, means that application is always precise and no serum is ever wasted.

How To Use It

After cleansing, apply to the entire face in the morning and evening.

The Ordinary "Buffet" + Copper Peptides 1% 30ml is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of my everyday regime Getting older is no joke this packed full of good stuff for those of us on the wrong side of 40-50. Helps keep my skin firm and bright and less inflamed as I suffer with rosacea. Careful not to use it when using acids tho.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from sensational serum This product is one of my favourite serums. My skin feels truly conditioned, like it's been fed a good meal of healthiness as the name suggests.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blue Healing I'd already been using the original Buffet for quite a while. I liked it and did think it made a difference to my skin. Not sure what difference. But my skin seemed to look better for it. When the new Buffet + Copper Peptides 1% came out. I was really interested, because of the copper and its healing properties. I'm in my mid 40's and have had acne since I was 12. The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% has played a massive role in me becoming 99% acne free. To start with, two things put me off buying Buffet + Copper Peptides 1%. 1) was the price, and 2) was a couple of reviews I'd read on the Ordinary's Website. One person claimed it smelt so bad they had to wash it off. Another claimed it left their fingers like nicotine stained. I don't know how much of the product they were using each time. But I can tell you now... If used correctly, neither of those things is true. I put 2 drops of Buffet + Copper Peptides 1% and 1 drop of Niacinamide 10% + Zinc into the palm of one hand. Then I rub it all over my face. Then I apply whatever serum and moisturiser I'm using that day. Does the Buffet + Copper Peptides 1% have a smell? Yes, it smells a bit like PVA glue. But as soon as you apply it, the smell is gone in less than 3 seconds. Has it stained my fingers or nails? No! My nails are pure white. I've noticed that now when I do still get the occasional spot on my face. Between the Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and the Buffet + Copper Peptides 1%, the spot doesn't stand a chance. It's gone before it could get going. Couldn't live without either of them. I have back up bottles of both! From now on, I will always use the Copper version of The Ordinary's Buffet.
