Executive & Commercial Assistant to CEO - Escentual
- We have an exciting opportunity for an upbeat, confident and organised PA to provide organisational support and act as the right-hand assistant to CEO, Rakesh Aggarwal, and his senior management team at Escentual. The ideal candidate will take immense pride in all aspects of their role, whether hosting meetings, analysing data or running personal errands.
The successful PA will be personable, ideally with strong business acumen and substantial PA or business experience. This is a varied role that requires the utmost discretion, the ability to manage personal and commercial matters, solid organisational skills, and the ability to work under pressure in an ambiguous, fast-paced and demanding environment.
Full or part-time hours available
Minimum 25 hours per week
Monday – Friday 9.30am - 2.30pm (additional hours available - open for discussion)
Contract: Permanent.
Salary: Competitive based on experience/skill set

Who you will work for:
You will report to Rakesh Aggarwal – Escentual’s CEO.
Main Responsibilities:
- General office management and administrative duties, including diary management such as organising meetings, events and telephone calls.
- Acting as the first point of contact for all calls and emails, both commercial and personal.
- Processing expenses and organising commercial and personal payments, including regular and ad hoc personal bills for CEO and his family.
- Produce presentations, spreadsheets and executive summary documents for internal and external use.
- Regular data analysis.
- Undertake ad hoc projects, including coordinating and actively owning/participating as required.
- Support HR/onboarding new hire process.
- Event organisation.
- Personal errands as required.
The ideal candidate:
- Will be a highly articulate and personable individual with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Must be confident in communicating with senior managers and stakeholders across the business, and have the ability to adopt different communication styles to suit the audience.
- Will be a highly discreet person with an ability to manage both personal and commercial matters.
- Must be highly organised and flexible.
- Will be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced and demanding environment, remain calm under pressure, and be a self-starter who’s able to think outside the box.
- Must showcase excellent stakeholder management skills.
- A passion for beauty and style is highly desirable.
- Experience within the beauty, fashion or luxury goods sector will be beneficial, as will previous commercial/business knowledge.
- HR experience would be advantageous.
- Experience in Google/Microsoft Office etc. is essential.
- A full UK driving license is preferred.

PPC Executive - Escentual
- We are looking for a smart, analytical and ambitious individual to join our team. Working within the Insights team, you will be responsible for planning, creating and maintaining our paid advertising campaigns. You’ll also collaborate with other teams to identify market trends and opportunities.
Full Time: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

- Create and optimise paid advertising campaigns.
- Work with the team to provide insights to other departments regarding customer and product trends.
- Research new marketing channels

Full-Time Beauty Therapist - Central Pharmacy Beauty Team
We’re looking for a full-time Beauty Therapist to join our team at Central Gold Salon. Located within Central Pharmacy, we aim to maintain a sense of wellbeing for each and every client as we enhance inner strength and outer beauty. Led by a team of friendly, talented and dedicated individuals who have helped our salon achieve the much-coveted Clarins Gold status, we offer our clients the highest standard treatments - from facials and tanning, to lashes and The Gel Bottle Nails. To us, our customers are at the heart of everything we do.
Full Time - 40 hours a week
9am-6pm (1 hour lunch break) Monday to Saturday (with 1 day off during the week and 1 in 4 Saturdays off)

Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure all deliveries have been reconciled by the end of the day, resolving any anomalies.
- Ensure invoices are reconciled and entered onto Sage by the end of the day, resolving any anomalies.
- Offering first-class treatments to clients.
- Maintaining a high level of care towards each and every customer.
- Promoting in-store beauty offerings and driving store loyalty.
- Utilising your knowledge of how brands compare to competitors to encourage in-store purchases.
- Setting and maintaining high standards of housekeeping within treatment rooms.
- Utilising time in between treatments to check stock and tester levels the store and salon.
- Ensuring all brand counters meet merchandising standards with sufficient stock levels.
- Supporting and contributing to the success of other team members and salon projects.
- Promoting Escentual to customers, while personally maintaining their core values: quality, service and satisfaction
Essential skills:
- Must have an NVQ Level 3 in beauty therapy and ideally have salon experience
- Must be able to confidently deliver all services currently offered at the Gold Salon and will be excited at the opportunity to be trained as a Clarins Therapist
- Will be an expert in all-things-beauty; you’ll be the go-to person for beauty knowledge.
- Will ideally be trained in makeup.
- Will maintain excellent customer service at all times, and have a genuine passion for great customer care.
- Will constantly show a desire to find the perfect solution for each individual customer - and go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction is met
- Will be passionate about all treatments and products and revel in the opportunity to provide additional services to our current portfolio where appropriately qualified e.g.Russian Lashes, brow lamination etc.
- Will be eager to learn more about our brands and products through makeup, skincare and fragrance training
- Will be a reliable, approachable team player
- Will show a desire to keep their treatments and skills up to date
- Will be confident contributing ideas to maximise opportunities for the store
