i bought this perfume as a treat for myself, & purchase was based purely on perfume notes description & customer reviews from several websites. I particularly bought as some people had described it as powdery, & some of the notes were orange blossom & iris, all of which i like. At first i wasnt all that keen on it. when you first spray it (i bought the 20ml edp) it smells a bit fruity/berryish which i wasnt expecting. however, once its been on half an hour its quite nice-warmer, more sophisticated & a tiny bit powdery( prefer more powdery really), & lost its fruity berry smell thank goodness. it has great staying power - still nice & strong hours later. the best thing about this perfume is the drydown-it smells much nicer once on longer ie 1hr plus but the scent doesnt weaken. i would recommend to others, but probably wouldnt buy again myself, as i prefer a more powdery scent eg chanel no.5 or prada infusion d'iris edp. escentual was THE cheapest to buy the 20ml edp by the way.
