I’m usually quite conservative with glittery beauty products, but as New Year’s Eve dawns, I’m ready to pile it on. The usual rule is to stick to wearing just one glittery product at a time, but that rule just doesn’t apply on 31^st December, when my mantra is “the more sparkle, the better”.

So throw on that party dress, step into those stiletto shoes, and get ready to highlight complexion, body and hair with my favourite sparkly body and hair products…

1 – Too Faced Metal Eyed Liner, £14.
Scared of sparkle? A glittery eyeliner is the perfect way to wear shimmer without drawing too much attention. This liquid liner is available in glimmering black, navy blue, forest green, vibrant purple, and bronze. Trace across your upper lash line for a fabulously festive look!

2 – Too Faced Glamour Dust Glitter Pigment, £14.
Available in pale blue, pale pink, shimmering nude, or soft brown, this ultra-sparkly glitter dust is designed to be applied to eyelids for a high-impact look. Prep eyelids with a rich balm or eye makeup glue to ensure that it stays in place all night. You only need a tiny bit to make a big statement with your flutter!

3 – Stila All Over Shimmer Liquid, £14.
With mirco-fine pearl extracts, this lightweight facial fluid can be mixed with your usual foundation to give your complexion a luminous shimmer. It can also be applied directly to cheekbones, brow bones, the bridge of your nose, or the décolletage to add eye-catching radiance.

4 – Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Or Golden Dry Oil Splash, from £23.
This iconic product can be used on face, body, or hair. The dry oil is infused with tiny flecks of gold glitter, which subtly cling to skin and hair for a stylish shimmer. It smells stunning and richly hydrates, but doesn’t leave an oily residue.

5 – Nail Girls Gold 2 Colour, £7.35.
