This week I did something a little bit exciting – I had some pictures taken for More magazine! Not only that, but I was treated to a bit of a hair and makeup makeover with their lovely makeup artist Paola (whose kit almost made me weep with envy).

Being pampered by a pro was such a fun way to spend an afternoon. Paola intensified my eyes with a cat-eye slick of black eyeliner, and brightened my tired skin up with lots of illuminating powder. A slick of red lipstick and I was done!

I normally wear my hair quite big and messy (and it was even bigger that day thanks to the Welsh rain), so Paola changed it up with a sleeker look. After brushing the snarls out, she smoothed my hair with straighteners and combed it into a face framing style.

There were many pictures taken all over the place, but the ones out in the warehouse were probably my favourite. Action shots of taking products off of shelves? It turns out I’m a pro.
