Too Faced Summer Swatches

These new releases from Too Faced offer you the perfect capsule collection for the summer. Forgo a full face of makeup and go for a subtly bronzed, perfected complexion and body.

We swatched each new product to get a feel for their texture and longevity, and we were very impressed…

The Too Faced Royal Oil is a gorgeous all-over body bronzer that is absolutely packed to the brim with ultra-fine bronzed shimmer. Made up of silky coconut oil, the formula sinks into skin immediately leaving no residue or stickiness, just a lovely bronzed hue. The oil is further enriched with Mangosteen Oil, otherwise known as The Queen’s Fruit, which has potent antioxidants to protect against external aggressors and environmental free radicals.

You need the smallest amount because it goes a long way and is very intensely shimmery. The pour top makes it easy to pop some of the product back in if you dispense too much, though.

It’s thick, ultra shimmery and very moisturising, with the most beautiful coconut fragrance. It’s easy to spread all over the skin and looks like molten gold.

The effect is a subtly bronzed look with lots of expensive-looking shimmer. This would look absolutely amazing on bare legs to give them a healthy, sexy sheen.

The Too Faced Primed and Poreless Pure is is the perfect solution for those with sensitive skin who want to improve the longevity of their make-up. The pared-down formulation includes innovative ingredient SEPI-CALM, which calms inflamed skin and gently brightens and evens the complexion. The mild formula perfectly prepares skin for makeup application and ensures that your base is perfect all day long with EVERMAT, a balancing and regulating ingredient that minimises shine and improves the overall texture of the complexion.

The oil-free primer can be likened to a balm in its consistency and colour: it is slightly thick and has a velvety feel. The nozzle on the packaging ensures precise application, and it easy to dispense just the right amount.

It is entirely transparent once it is blended. The above picture is very lightly spread out to give you a feel for the texture, but a few more swipes and it appears invisible on the skin. The texture is incredibly lightweight, and it gives a wonderful matte finish to the complexion.

The Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzing Powder is a cocoa-enriched, chocolate scented formula with a super soft texture and deeply pigmented colour. The Milk Chocolate bronzer has a sheer, matte finish that gives a sunkissed look while diminishing shine and the appearance of imperfections. The skin is left looking and feeling balanced and perfected, with an authentic-looking tan.

It’s the most flattering colour for pale girls (like me!), and works just as well as a contour as it does an all-over colour. Instead of leaning towards a more conventional orange-brown hue, this bronze is a sweet milky brown with absolutely no sparkle. If you’re a little scared of bronzer, it’s the perfect introduction to a golden glow.
