I’ll admit it, I’m a bit of a skincare obsessive, there’s nothing I enjoy more than pampering my skin with innovative technologies and luxurious formulas. So, when the new Ole Henriksen Truth Sugar Glow Polishing Mask landed on the Escentual beauty desk you can only imagine how fast I jumped at the chance to get it on my face! If you’re a regular reader of the Escentual Beauty Buzz Blog, then you’ll know that I have a slight soft spot for Ole Henriksen products (the Walnut Scrub and Truth Serum are two of my all-time favourite products). Enriched with powerful actives and soothing botanicals my skin always glows after an ‘Ole’ pamper session, and that was no different after using the brand new Truth Sugar Glow Polishing Mask.
This mask is unlike any other mask you own, and I’ll put money on the fact that it does more for your skin than your other masks too. But don’t just take my word for it, there’s a handful of reasons why this mask should be at the top of your next shopping list…
What is it?
The Ole Henriksen Truth Sugar Glow Polishing Mask is a multi-action mask that cleanses, brightens, smooths and buffs away dead skin cells. The perfect skincare product for waving farewell to winter, the polishing mask is a one-stop shop to glowing skin. And, the answer to why this mask is so effective is all down to its ingredient line-up.
At the heart of its formula is an exfoliating blend of raw sugar that gently polishes the skin to reveal a healthier, revitalised complexion. But of course, in true Ole Henriksen style he didn’t stop at raw sugar. The mask’s botanical blend contains honey to smooth and nourish, pomegranate seeds to refine pores, citrus extracts to add radiance and an infusion of rose hips, vitamin A, C and omega 3 and 6 to provide antioxidant care. It’s fair to say that this polishing mask packs a punch.
To use, you pop the mask all-over clean, damp skin and leave for 5-10 minutes before gently massaging into the skin with warm water – super easy!
Why do I need it?
If the all-star ingredient line-up didn’t seal the deal then the mask’s delicious scent will. When I first popped it on my skin I had to resist the temptation to see if it tasted as good as it smelt! The uplifting citrus aroma is mouth-watering, it’s amazing first thing in the morning, for me, there’s no better way to start off the day.
