This Fragrance Smells Like…
A spicy, leathery and woody oud, Epices Exquises is infused with an explosion of powerful aromas that are prized in the Middle East. Perfumer, Thierry Wasser, whisks your senses away on a sensory journey like no other with top notes of bergamot, artemisia, coriander and lemon, met by an irresistible heated floral heart of cardamom, rose, sage and clove tree. As the scent settles on the skin, the spice comes alive with the sensual woodiness of benzoin, patchouli, cistus labdanum and sandalwood.
What’s The Story Behind This Scent?
Every fragrance within the Absolus d’Orient collection is made using only the finest raw materials sourced from around the world. Each scent in the collection is made from precious materials, such as oud, commonly found in the hot climate of the Middle East. Thierry Wasser recreates the delicious scent of cardamom coffee in Epices Exquises by using the finest spices, patchouli and rose.

For me, this is a totally genderless fragrance. Epices Exquises has been sprayed by women and men at Escentual HQ – and we’re all head over heels for its sweet yet spicy leathery aroma.

The intensity of this scent ensures it lasts on the skin for around six to eight hours.
What’s Special About The Bottle?
Fans of the GUERLAIN Absolus d’Orient collection will notice that the range has had an update to feature a new see-through coloured glass bottle, which is updated from the old opaque design. It keeps the character of the original design with its luxurious metallic gold label and circular gold lid engraved with the classic GUERLAIN bee insignia; plus, its neck tie is coloured bronze to match the stained glass bottle and sun-soaked spices within.
