This Fragrance Smells Like…
If you wear Live by Lacoste, you might notice it looks different. Yes, it got a new design for 2022, but the scent itself is exactly the same as the previous version.
But what does it smell like, exactly? It packs an energetic punch from the very first spritz. It’s a zesty and tart blend of fresh lime, balanced by a layer of warmth provided by saffron. The heart creates a dew-drenched leafy tone as it pairs together green leaves with fresh aquatic notes. Finally, the fragrance settles into a soft, creamy warm woody tone as sandalwood and guaiac wood take on a new dimension as the unique, instantly recognised the scent of liquorice joins the mix.

Live has a similar energetic citrus tone and warm woody base as Only The Brave by Diesel – thanks to the saffron, you get a touch of warmth a lot sooner here.
Is Lacoste Live Unisex?
Technically, it’s marketed as a fragrance for men, and it does have a typically masculine ‘aftershave’ vibe, but it’s definitely got universal appeal, thanks to its fresh, vibrant tones. And of course, you should wear a fragrance because you like it – not because it’s marketed towards you.
What’s The Longevity Like?
This is certainly long-lasting for an Eau de Toilette. It lasted around six hours on my skin.
What’s Special About The Bottle?
It’s a new bottle following a 2022 update. The old block style is gone, and it’s been replaced by a slim, clear glass bottle that allows you to peek at the blue-tinted liquid within. There aren’t any size variations for Lacoste L!VE Eau de Toilette anymore – Lacoste has streamlined, so they’re just offering the one 75ml version going forward. Of course, the instantly recognisable Lacoste croc still gets a feature, though.
