What Does It Feel Like?
It’s a lightweight oil that doesn’t have as much viscosity as Clarins Blue Orchid. The Erborian one isn’t overly greasy or overbearing. It layers well without pilling and it didn’t leave any oily residue on my skin or hands.
What Does It Smell Like?
The face oil has a subtle, plant-based, fresh, or overly fragranced scent. And that makes sense because it’s packed with plant actives.
How Do You Use The Product?
It’s so important to shake it. Shake the bottle well to mix the two phases. Then, apply three to four drops to your freshly cleansed and dry face and massage gently. You can use the oil serum before or instead of your night cream.

The pipette design makes this oil easy to use; I prefer this option to a pour method as you save more and waste less. Erborian have also brought out a miniature size, which is great to try first or travel with.

Better than I even expected – LexKI bought this more or less on a whim, thinking it sounded interesting and encouraged by the discount offered at the time. I didn’t quite expect this to give dramatic results – but I’m surprised that it really did deliver on the marketing promises. If you’re familiar with how your skin changes dramatically after getting extra sleep following a period of stress and exhaustion & how there is a huge difference in how luminous and smooth your skin looks after the extra rest….that’s similar to the effect of this product…! Word of caution though: I don’t have particularly sensitive skin (just breakout prone) and this really must be PACKED with actives because it gives me a prickly tingling sensation for some time after application… If you have sensitive skin, perhaps try the smaller size first. Other than that, can’t detect any fragrance and no signs of breaking out – quite the opposite: shockingly luminous and smooth skin. Highly recommended (with some caution) !! If I were to nitpick, it’s easy to forget to shake the bottle every time pre-application to mix the ingredients, but it’s a fairly trivial criticism on the formulation.
