If Only We Were Kate.. Our Dream Royal Wedding Look

If you’re anything like us, then you’re super psyched for the Royal Wedding. We’ve got our commemorative mug, we’ve got our patriotic cupcake recipe, and our 29th April itinerary is all sorted – now all that’s left to do is swoon over Kate’s hair/makeup/dress. Cannot. Wait.

This got us to thinking; if we were in Kate’s position, what beauty products would we wear on the big day? Well, if we were about to become a princess bride, we’d do it in style with these products…

Guerlain Parure Gold Fluid Foundation
Smooth this decadent yet lightweight foundation onto the face with a foundation brush for a natural-looking, perfected make-up base. The formulation is infused with both yellow and pink gold to correct the complexion and infuse radiance, whilst the Guerlain Precious Rejuvenating Complex and Oil of Myrrh stimulate the skin.

Givenchy Le Prisme Blush in Inspiration Rose
This gorgeous blush is perfect for Kate’s English rose complexion, as it infuses a radiant, even glow effortlessly. There are four complimentary colours included in the compact that can be used separately to create the ultimate custom colour, or together for a full rosy glow. Sculpt, highlight and colour your cheeks in one easy step.

Too Faced Romantic Palette
This gorgeous palette contains 9 pigment-rich, petal-soft eye colours, ranging from the subtly shimmery Honeymoon to the gentle pink of Kiss the Bride. The kit also includes how-to cards to help you to recreate three romantic eye looks, because a woman always looks beautiful when she’s in love!

Guerlain Le 2 Waterproof Mascara
This double-ended mascara feels luxurious, looks incredible, and helps you to sculpt the most beautifully shiny, natural-looking lashes – tearproof, of course! The first end creates enviable volume and curl, whilst the second miniature brush works the formulation right the way through to even the tiniest lashes, whilst lengthening them to infinity.

Bare Escentuals Buxom Lip gloss in Princess and Katie
This is a gloss with a difference, as it contains 100% pure Bare Minerals. It colours and shapes lips without the usual tacky feeling of a gloss, instead imparting a subtle sheen while gently increasing the fullness of the lips. What else could our favourites be but the golden glow lavender-pink of Princess and the opaque nude-pink of Katie?

Caudalie Beauty Elixir
Make sure your make-up stays in place all day long with a spritz or two of this wonder formulation. The Beauty Elixir can actually be used at any time of day to keep the skin refreshed and infuse radiance, with essential oils of mint, orange blossom, rose and myrrh to keep skin looking and feeling beautiful. Apply after foundation, but before powder.

Too Faced Absolutely Invisible Candlelight
The last step is to gently sweep this breatheable, vitamin-enriched powder all over the face for a soft-focus glow. The peach-gold of the powder illuminates the complexion beautifully, while minimising fine lines. It’s such a flattering shade that reflects light and warms the complexion, and most importantly never feels heavy or chalky on the skin. It’s the perfect finishing touch.

Nailgirls Classic Colour in Beige #6
This translucent, milky shade is the perfect colour for understated wedding day nails. Nude with the faintest tinge of pink, looks great when paired with white for a classic French manicure, and looks equally as striking when layered over other colours to tone them down. As it’s a NailGirls colour, you’re safe in the knowledge that it’s also free from the big four nasties!
