La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 - Soothing Repairing Balm is rated out of 5 by 74.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Gail56 from Brilliant all rounder. I bought this cream initially, for my baby’s sore bum, as someone had given me a little bit of it to try and it was really effective. However, one night before bed I was at my wits end with how my skin was looking - spots, red patches, dull, so I used some of this cream all over my face. It’s quite thick and white, but I rubbed it in fairly well and went to bed. In the morning, I was SO pleased. My skin was way better, spots had reduced and it was far less red. A couple more nights and now my skin is amazing. I’m using less foundation too, as I have less to cover up now. I’m not going to use it every night but I know now that I have a really effective product when I need it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Azure from A Miracle Cream! I'm the kind of person who usually likes swapping between and trying out different skincare products, but I've been using the Cicaplast Baume B5 for years and it is honestly one of my favourite -- and most versatile -- products on my dressing table. I've used it to soothe and treat sunburn, small burns, dry and cracked skin, small patches of eczema, and I've even used it on dried-over cuts and grazes. It provides deep hydration, feels soothing, and it really speeds up the healing process. The cream itself is thick and rich, and, depending on what you're using it for, a little goes a long way. I personally don't think there's a strong or unpleasant scent, either. This is now my moisturiser for my face in winter, when my skin is usually much drier, and I find my skin is more hydrated, which lasts throughout the day. I don't find that it blocks my pores or causes any congestion, but I would say that if you use too much it can leave a white cast on the skin as the cream is so thick. I always have a spare tube of Cicaplast in the cupboard as I'd hate to be without it. I've recommended it to so many people, and even given it to family to try, who have similarly been impressed with the stuff.

Rated 3 out of 5 by chris3003 from Bought for very dry skin I would in no way call this balm "soothing" as it states. The balm is quite thick and not easy to rub in. If you apply too much it will definately not rub in and it will leave your skin looking white. Has it done what I bought it for...the jury is still out!!!
