Smooth and treat stretch marks with the Uriage Bariederm Dermatological Cica Oil, a nourishing oil with 99.9% natural origin ingredients, which helps correct and prevent stretched skin.
Uriage’s nurturing, silky oil works to stop the development of stretch marks while targeting existing stretching by improving elasticity and boosting the skin’s healing process.
Enhancing the skin’s elasticity using a cocktail of natural oils; it showcases organic, fatty acid-rich jojoba oil for its protective, soothing abilities, alongside organic avocado oil. Avaodi oil provides a gentle softening action, while it’s also rich in fatty acids, carotenoids and antioxidant vitamin C and E. The oil-based trio is completed with moisturising sunflower oil, which helps nourish skin with its omega-6 and vitamin E-rich formula.
The skin works to correct signs of stretching by optimising healing; Uriage’s GF REPAIR technology boosts healing by stimulating growth factors, while bisabolol soothes skin. Phytosqualane provides a regenerative action on the hydrolipidic film - the skin’s natural protective barrier - while tamanu oil continues to provide a healing action.
The comforting oil can be used to address stretch marks caused by pregnancy or weight gain, or used to massage recent scars. When used after post pregnancy, the oil reduces the size and colour of stretch marks for more even, smooth skin.
Why We Love It
Although stretch marks are incredibly normal and nothing to be embarrassed about, if you do want to address them, then Uriage’s Cica Oil is a great option, as it blends technology with natural ingredients. So, your skin can visibly benefit from Uriage’s innovative, science-driven formula, while you can still feel comfortable knowing that it prioritises natural ingredients. Plus, it’s great to see that it not only targets existing stretch marks, but helps halt their development, so the oil can be used as a preventative treatment.
How To Use It
During or after pregnancy, or a period of weight gain or loss or cortisone treatment, apply twice a day on stretch marks. Gently massage the area in circular motions or pinch the stretch mark until the oil has penetrated. This formula is suitable for use before, during and after pregnancy, including the breastfeeding period.
