Make a splash with this lightweight and non-sticky lip gloss formula from YSL. Its thin consistency creates a luxurious wet-look finish that feels both hydrating and smoothing on the lips and will leave a very thin colour stain coupled with vivid pigment.

The wave-inspired applicator makes it easy to apply and it has been cleverly designed to give precise results - the fine tip and flat shape helps to distribute the gloss as it adapts to the natural curve of the lips. You can choose to go sheer with just one coat, offering a subtle pop of colour or if you prefer something more intense, the buildable formula allows you to increase the pigment to achieve a bolder effect.

How To Use It

These versatile lip stains offer three different levels of coverage that are adjustable according to how much you apply. For light coverage, opt for one layer using the applicator; start at the cupids bow in the centre of the lips moving towards the outer corners, then reverse the movement. For medium coverage, wait around 20 seconds, then use the sharp edge of the applicator to retrace the lips and carefully reapply. For intense full coverage (after letting the first two layers dry), deliver a third layer, paying extra attention to the centre of the lower lip to amp up the intensity.

Top tip: To remove the lip stain we recommend using an oil-based makeup remover specifically for eyes and lips and using a cotton pad gently wipe away the stain.
