HUGO BOSS BOSS The Scent For Her Le Parfum Review

HUGO BOSS BOSS The Scent For Her Le Parfum Review

Sweet, sensuous and seriously addictive, BOSS The Scent For Her Le Parfum is the latest addition to HUGO BOSS’s beloved The Scent line. While honouring the original, BOSS The Scent Le Parfum for her reimagines the aroma to offer unexpected touches of subtle spice and a warm woodiness for a perfume that’s impossible to resist…

This Fragrance Smells Like…

A bold and intense reinterpretation of the iconic BOSS The Scent for her, Le Parfum starts with a spicy top note of pink peppercorn for an instant sense of energy and passion. This quickly fizzles into a sweet but sensuous orange blossom heart, which charms and captivates the senses with its fresh white floral presence. As the fragrance settles on your skin, warm vetiver harmonises with soft akigalawood for a perfume that’s utterly sophisticated and deeply seductive all at once. This duo settles the fragrance beautifully, wrapping it up in a gentle but sensual caress.

What’s The Story Behind This Scent?

Tying in to the rest of BOSS’s The Scent range, The Scent Le Parfum for women takes seduction to a whole new dimension. It builds on its predecessor, which offers a deliciously gourmand exploration of seduction, by instead offering a slightly spicier and woodier take on the original whilst ramping up The Scent’s sensual side.

You Will Love This If…

If you loved the original The Scent Eau de Parfum for her, you’re going to want to try this version. It has a similar white floral tone but also builds on the fragrance to stand out in its own right.

This Perfume Smells Similar To:

BOSS The Scent Le Parfum for her is a cross between the original, the Eau de Toilette and the last flanker to join the collection: The Scent For Her Absolute. Le Parfum takes the sprinkling of pink pepper found at the top of the Eau de Toilette but builds on it so it stands alone as the star at the top. Then, Le Parfum borrows the sweet white floral tones at the heart of the Eau de Parfum and the Eau de Toilette before leaving behind their rich gourmand cocoa bean base in favour of the smoky, earthy vetiver accord found at the base of Absolute, while Le Parfum is lifted by an airy akigalawood accord. All in all, HUGO BOSS BOSS The Scent For Her Le Parfum honours each fragrance in its line, drawing them together for arguably one of the most seductive flankers yet.

Is HUGO BOSS BOSS The Scent For Her Le Parfum Unisex?

As the name suggests, this is marketed as a fragrance for women. It definitely does have a more traditionally feminine style due to its rich white floral tone, although the most important thing about any fragrance is, of course, that you love wearing it – and not who it’s aimed towards.

What’s The Longevity Like?

Although I had high expectations for the longevity of this HUGO BOSS fragrance based on the fact that it’s an intense flanker, I was still really impressed by just how long it lasted. I spritzed it once on my wrist at 9am and I could still just about make out its soft earthy-woody base by evening.

What’s Special About The Bottle?

The Scent For Her’s jewel-shaped bottle features elegant plum lacquering in a sleek ombre design that offers a darker take on the original The Scent flacon, mirroring the way that the fragrance is more intense too. To complete the design, the bottle is topped with a light-reflecting cap in a precious rose gold finish for a final touch of luxury.
