Guerlain Noir G Bee Primer Lash-Plumper Serum Review

GUERLAIN Noir G Bee Primer Lash-Plumper Serum Review

I wasn’t born with long, luscious lashes. I usually turn to eyelash extensions whenever I want more volume and length. That said, I’d love not to have to – lash extensions aren’t a walk in the park, are they? That’s why the Guerlain Noir G Bee Primer caught my eye. Not only does it offer to boost your mascara’s performance but it’ll promote lash growth too. Win-win!

Guerlain is synonymous with luxury. They’re most well-known for their perfumes, but their makeup and skincare deserve more praise. Not only are the textures sublime and their scents divine, but their formulas deliver incredible results.

Here’s everything I learnt from trialling the Noir G Bee Primer…

You Will Love Guerlain Noir G Bee Primer If…

I recommend this eyelash primer serum to anyone who has ever said they ‘don’t have good eyelashes’. Whether it’s because your lashes are short, stubby or sparse, this formula will transform your lashes and may even encourage you to ditch eyelash extensions for good.

What Does It Do?

It’s a primer and an eyelash serum. As a primer it preps your eyelashes for mascara; the formula acts as a great base which boosts volume, curl and length. Because it’s white, it also makes the colour of your mascara pop. As an eyelash serum it conditions and cares, helping your lashes to grow long and strong.

How Does It Do It?

It contains 91% natural origin ingredients, including key ingredient honey, which promotes strong lashes. Beeswax boost lash volume, while squalane enhances shine.

What Does It Smell And Feel Like?

It has a gorgeous scent, which sets it apart from other high-end eyelash primers I have tried. It smells sweet like honey. It has a creamy, lightweight texture which goes onto the eyelashes white but becomes clear as it dries.

Best Place and Time To Use It?

You can use this as an eyelash primer before mascara or alone as a conditioning treatment. I enjoyed applying it before bed as an overnight pamper for my lashes.

Guerlain Noir G Bee Primer Design and Aesthetic Is Special Because…

Guerlain packaging is always a cut above the rest. The Noir G Bee Primer is no exception. It has a white, slim-line tube with ‘Guerlain Paris’ along its side and is topped with the iconic bee logo. It has a curved brush that fans out for a 360 effect to coat every lash.
My makeup routine is low key. It doesn’t have many steps so I was dubious about adding in an extra step with this. But I’m glad I did – I really noticed a difference when I applied this before mascara. My lashes looked longer and thicker, plus my mascara’s colour popped, especially when I wore black. As for whether my lashes grew, it’s early days. I have used it for just over a week and although I think lashes have grown, I know it can take several weeks of continued use to see the true results.
