We know your desire for newness is strong,  and with beauty budgets being tightened, we want to make sure you’re well-informed about the next best things in beauty.

We want you to be certain you get the right bang for your buck. We’ve challenged the team to pick what they’re most excited about from our luxurious lineup and most importantly, which are worth your money. What will you choose?

It’s no secret, but a recent lip oil launch had most of the team looking like the heart eye emoji. Scroll to number two to see what it is!

1. Antipodes Diem Vitamin C Water Cream

Why Keavy’s excited:

I’m really excited about the Antipodes Diem Water Cream because I love the serum, it’s golden and this has the same benefits as it – and it smells so good!

Why Maya’s excited:

On my face, you can see a lot of pigment and colours and I hope this will help as it’s very natural. Vitamin C can have a beautiful brightening effect on your face, especially for people my age (it’s around 40) and I’m very interested to see how this will work on my face.

Why Hannah’s excited:

I was actually lucky enough to try this before. So I’ve had like sneak peeks, I’ve seen sort of the gold flecks and how lovely it is. But I’m really excited to see if it makes a difference to my skin long term. I’ve got some dark spots. So I’m interested to see how this works.

2. Clarins Lip Comfort Oil

Why Hannah’s excited:

So I’m really excited about the Clarins lip oils because I’ve used honey for (I think) like four years now. Then on the other end of the spectrum, I’m also really intrigued by the shade Plum. I love purple lipstick. I love pink and purple as you can see. So these two are really really exciting!

Why Kate’s excited:

I love them all, but I think one of my favourites is definitely is the Apricot one. I love sort of peachy-corally colours, especially for spring and summer. Then, on the other end of the spectrum is cherry, I tend to go for more so paler colours or prettier pinks and things, but this one is really wearable and quite buildable. So I think that was a really good choice for me.

Why Keavy’s excited:

I’ve gone full shade 4 Pitaya. I think it’s a fruit? It kind of reminds me of Dior Lip Glow. I love Clarins for skincare, so I felt like it would give me the benefits of skincare, but hopefully with the glow lip associated with Dior.

Why Zainab’s excited:

The colours that I’m most excited about are Honey, Cherry and Plum. I think Honey is a great everyday one, I could put that on top of lipsticks I already own. And then Plum and Cherry are a bit deeper, daring me to wear a bit more colour without being too bright.

Why Rosa’s excited:

Raspberry, which I think is just a beautiful colour! All the colours are just stunning, but this one in particular I think resonates with me quite nicely. I have been thinking about using the red one because I’m wearing a lovely red jumper today, But! It’s not what I usually wear. I don’t wear red usually, so I kind of thought to go for a safer (which I really shouldn’t do) option.

Why Maya’s excited:

Because I have raspberries, that’s why I choose this colour! It’s not too bright and it’s not too dark  – and I think that it will match well with my gorgeous Eastern European face.

Why Jade’s excited:

Chocolate is my ultimate favourite because I wear a lot of nude lipsticks. I think this is perfect to go on top! I also chose Strawberry because the scent is amazing.  It’s really addictive. I think I’ll wear this more as an overnight treatment.

Why Darcey’s excited:

I’ve gone for the shade Cherry because I like a red lip. I usually like oils because they make my lips quite voluminous and plump!

Why Ceryn’s excited:

There’s a new shade. It’s called Chocolate and it’s a lovely kind of nude colour. And I also love the packaging. They used to be square now they’re circular – and I think they’re really chic!

Why Beth’s excited:

There are so many there if I’m honest, I think about a little bit overwhelmed with the amount of shades there were and I just couldn’t pick which one I thought this for me and then earlier I was watching Ceryn on her live and she put on the Chocolate and I thought it just looked amazing, so I’m gonna give that a go.

Why Chelsey’s excited:

Back when Clarins launched the Instant Light Lip Oils. I did the swatch post, and all of the research behind the formula. The colours, consistency and packaging are very different. Plus there’s a new shade, Chocolate! This didn’t exist and it’s a 90s style nude lip, which I love!

Why Simona’s excited:

Plum is usually the colour I use on my lips but lately, I’ve been trying matte lipsticks so it’s gonna be intriguing to see how this lip oil will look on.

3. Klorane Cupuacu Hair Care

Why Darcey’s excited:

I’m really excited to try the Klorane Cupuacu range. I’ve done a lot of research into it as one of the first people to hear about it. It actually goes into the keratin gaps in your hair and strengthens the strands, so it will have less breakage when brushing and styling your hair.

Why Rosa’s excited:

I want to try the Klorane Cupuacu in particular because it is for curly hair. I’ve tried product after product, after product and there’s just barely anything really catered to proper curly hair. This is something I really want to try because I’ve heard from the testing that’s been done, that it’s come out really well. And! Because my hair is such a bloody test on any shampoo and conditioner.

Why Simona’s excited:

I fell in love with Klorane after I’ve used the mango one, I just love the smell and the way the hair feels after. But now that they’ve come up with the new range, I’m even more intrigued because my hair is usually a bit curly. I use straighteners quite a lot. So it kind of looks damaged at the moment. I’m really hoping this will work!

Why Maya’s excited:

Usually, in my life, I have everything or almost everything under control but not my hair. My hair is slightly curly, and when I brush it, it will be frizzy. I hope that these products from Klorane will give me control over my hair!

4. Dermalogica Skin Health Hyaluronic Ceramide Mist

Why Ceryn’s excited:

It’s got hyaluronic acid. I think it’s got four different types? of hyaluronic acid in it and also ceramides, which are really good for the skin barrier. And because I’ve got eczema, I can do with all the help in that department.

Why Chelsey’s excited:

I am not monogamous when it comes to water sprays. And for me, I’ve seen it become a rising trend. They’ve always been a bit of a hidden gem and so I’m always on the lookout for the next best one. It’s got rosewater and which I know is quite a historical power-house beauty ingredient as well as ceramides and plumping agents. So it’s really good to create a smooth base. The mist is actually quite fine, too. So if you were to use it as a setting spray for makeup, you’d be fine.

Why Kate’s excited:

I’m a quite lazy person I will be honest. So anything in this format is a very easy win for me. It’s really hydrating, really quick, and a great boost of moisture!

Why Keavy’s excited:

I absolutely love Dermalogica, so I was most intrigued by this one. I already use the Calming Mist and I’m all about that easy spray skincare step. I can’t wait to try this as I have really dry skin as well.

5. La Roche-Posay Pure Niacinamide 10 Serum

Why Hannah’s excited:

I’ve never actually tried anything from La Roche-Posay, but I’m a huge fan of niacinamide as an ingredient. I currently use The Ordinary version and I’m almost finished so I’m really excited to compare them and see how this one goes.

Why Zainab’s excited:

I really wanted to try the La Roche-Posay serum because the purple packaging really caught my eye – I wonder if it’s purple inside?

Why Beth’s excited:

The first thing I’m most excited about is the La Roche-Posay niacinamide serum, not just because of the niacinamide in it. but also because it’s got hyaluronic acid in it and I just love hyaluronic acid. So much of my skincare has that in, and it’s been great for me because I have oily skin and hyaluronic acid hydrates it without making it too moist (that’s a horrible word)!

Why Darcey’s excited:

I’m a big fan of La Roche-Posay, so for me, it was the niacinamide that was the most eye-catching. I have dullness. So that’s something I leaned towards out of the lineup.
