Beauty Flash Peel contains two acids, a 5.7% dose of glycolic and a 0.5% dose of salicylic acid, which work together to remove dead skin cells on the surface of the skin (which otherwise leave your complexion looking dull and lacklustre) whilst helping to purify pores to target skin imperfections.
You’ll also notice a few key actives from the balm are also featured here: organic acerola seed extract, organic oat sugars and organic aloe vera are joined by nopal extract to energise, renew, hydrate and tighten your skin for a smooth, radiant finish.
What Does It Feel Like?
Clarins Beauty Flash Peel has a refreshing gel texture that glides over your skin easily when you use Clarins’ in-build brush applicator. Leave a thin layer on for five to ten minutes before applying your usual night-cream face cream, you’ll notice that it sinks into your skin very easily.
What Does It Smell Like?
When you squirt out the product, the peel has an ever-so-subtle scent that’s clean and almost a touch medicinal, but you can’t notice it when it’s on your skin.
How Do You Use The Product?
Use the Clarins Beauty Flash Peel two or three times a week by applying a thin layer to cleansed skin, taking care to avoid the eye area. Leave it to work for five to ten minutes before applying your night cream.
It’s always important to wear high broad-spectrum sun protection in the day-time when using this product as it contains acids that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun.
Of course, you can support all of the hard work of the peel by using the iconic Beauty Flash Balm too. The balm can be used as a day treatment; simply smooth a thin layer onto a cleansed face, neck and decollete after your face cream. If you’re using it as a makeup base, you’d do the same again by applying a thin layer to your skin at the end of your routine and before applying base product, or you can get creative and mix it in directly with your liquid foundation for a glowy finish. To use the balm as a face mask, apply a thin layer to your skin two or three times a week. Leave on for 10 minutes before removing any excess with water. Then, apply your lotion with cotton pads and pat dry.
