Iman: Vogue Cover
Fashion icon Iman Abdulmajid is making her debut on the cover of British Vogue magazine in January 2023 as a tribute to the strong women who changed history.
Iman has been a trailblazer in the modelling industry. She was one of the only black models of her time and the first to refuse lower wages based on her skin colour, demanding equal pay to her peers. Moving past more barriers than one, she later launched Iman Cosmetics in 1994, an all-inclusive cosmetics range due to her experience in the modelling industry. She found a lack of foundation shades available.
