The distance that this fragrance can travel is moderate, meaning it will be noticeable to people within a few feet, but it’s softly sweet and isn’t too overpowering. One of the guys in the office noticed me wearing it when walking past my desk and was keen to try it himself!

It has the kind of sexy intensity that I would expect from a nighttime fragrance; however, depending on your preference – if you like a richer, creamier aroma – this could be worn in the daytime as well. For me, it’s got *fancy cocktail bar in NYC* vibes. It exudes elegance and opulence. I’d say you could wear it all year round, however, it does have a cosy warmth to it like a wintery perfume.
Black Orchid Eau de Toilette Design and Aesthetic Is Special Because…
The matte black, ribbed bottle and gold writing give the fragrance a very luxe feel. I imagine the bottle placed on a modern gold tray in a walk-in wardrobe inside a high-rise apartment. Its plush simplicity and dark exterior embody the aura of the fragrance.

Tom Ford’s Black Orchid is a distinctive fragrance and as a prominent part of the Black Orchid range, the Eau de Toilette is guaranteed to turn heads. I had a lot of compliments from friends and family when I was wearing this scent. It is both timeless and modern; I just love the chocolatey smoothness it has without having to include chocolate as a note.
