3 Ways To Fake Healthy, Glowy Skin

3 Ways To Fake Healthy, Glowy Skin

Everyone wants naturally glowy skin because it looks youthful and healthy. I would love to say I am one of the lucky few blessed with naturally glowing skin (we all know that one friend), but unfortunately, I’m not. My skin is dull, but I’m proud to say my glowing skin is 100% fake – not that you would know it!

Want to achieve glowy skin with minimal effort? Keep reading to discover the three fail-safe ways I add to my beauty routine that deliver radiant skin results…

Always apply SPF daily to keep your skin healthy and protected to avoid the development of pigmentation and dullness for a healthy, radiant glow.

1. Forge Flawless Skin With Shimmer

Using products infused with shimmer pigments is a one-way ticket to instantly glowy skin. A highlighter is my personal favourite to create showstopping skin. Applying it across the high points of your complexion where the light naturally hits. This light brush of angelic shimmer on your skin means you can fake beautifully glowy skin within seconds.

I wear Shiseido Aura Dew 03 Cosmic, which can be used on the face, eyes and lips.

2.  Get Your Glow With Skincaring Makeup

Skin-caring makeup is an emerging trend that infuses glowy makeup with skin-caring ingredients so that your skin can benefit from your makeup routine. Pairing this skincaring makeup with fail-safe glowy skin tips like drinking water, eating healthy or taking supplements will guarantee glowing skin.

I’m using the Yves Saint Laurent NU Dewy Mist here.

3. Moisturising = Make Believe Glow

Moisturise, moisturise and moisturise some more! No amount of glow products beats the healthy radiance of naturally hydrated skin. Moisturing your skin is one of the easiest and best ways to keep your complexion looking radiant, healthy and plump. You may think that only dry skin types need moisturiser, but I’m here to bust that myth: all skin types, including oily, will benefit from additional hydration.

Tip: always choose skincare that contains hyaluronic (HA) and bonus points if it has SPF in it too.
